CNRS Institute of Chemistry appoints Krzysztof Matyjaszewski as Ambassador of Chemical Sciences in France

On 21 April 2022, Krzysztof Matyjaszewski began a series of conferences in several CNRS laboratories as Ambassador of Chemical Sciences in France. According to J.C. Warner, Professor of Life Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, Krzysztof Matyjaszewski is internationally recognised as the father of atom transfer radical polymerisation (ATRP), a new method of polymer synthesis that has revolutionised the way these macromolecules are made.
